Project Management and Ethics

Dr. Yarmus identifies many of the ethical conflicts in the field of project management and focuses on construction management as a specialty of the art and science of project management. He differentiates the role of each discipline and narrows in on tools and principles that have become the core competencies of construction managers. These are further developed as ethical design considerations and constraints, defined in monitoring, risk evaluation, scoping, and the resolution of conflicts. He provides examples taken from the NSPE Board of Ethical Review to illustrate how cases tend to be interpreted in law and in the profession. 1 PDH
